Thank you Bill,it looks beautiful! I agree with Sharon, I think your signature deserves a place on the front, and that branch is in the perfect place for it! You DO make it look easy, thats for sure! And, like Jeff said in Branson, and I agree totally, that you must believe in yourself, and you can acomplish anything!!! Dale

Nice job indeedy. I don't think I have the patience. I'm too anxious to see the end result. I assume that little orange doohinckey in your hand is the torch, right? I've just been using my old plumbers propane torch while holding the work in my hand. I've singed a few hairs off my hand, but so far nothing drastic. Why did you not put tape down this time before applying the pattern, like you normally do?

Once again, very nice.

Thanks Mike, I'll make a prediction here, I bet before all is said and done, you will be doing some JZ patterns. Just a hunch.
Yes that is the torch I prefer to use, it is refilliable and has a very hot flame coming out the end but its small and very controllable.

The reason I didn't tape over the wood is due to the pattern and the amount of fragile area's, I felt that removing the tape would of been asking for trouble, where as just gluing the pattern down and using the mineral spirits the pattern just lifted off in one piece with no resistance.

Thanks Crafty, I really like doing JZ's patterns, they provide me many happy and challenging hours at my saw, not to mention teaching me patience!

The frame? Picked it up at Wal-Mart...

I wouldn't have missed this post for the world. At no time did I detect any bandaides or bottles of asparin! I really don't know what to say except you have my admiration. Skill, patience and the ability to present the whole thing in a great manner only proves you've got what it takes as well as a wife who understands your love of the hobby. My hats off to you. Now... when are you going to try something tough? Whatever it is... please include all of us in the process.

Thanks for the kind words, glad you enjoyed it Pop! Sadly I have an unheated shop so all my cutting is on hold waiting on the Spring.
