Default You probably already know

Before you toss a foam brush strip it. The plastic stiffener makes a great glue spreader, fuzzy chaser etc plus a piece of dowel.
Cheaper than foam brushes. Foam packing material. You can make your own brushes. They also make great glue daubers for fretwork. You can get glue on every part of the piece without getting much if any glue in the holes.
