It's almost that time of year. Just surfing this morning and tried a google search for some pumpkin patterns. What a gold mine...be careful about copy rights but here is a start for you on some Halloween Ideas. pumpkin pattern - Google Images

On the second page of that search I came upon this pattern http://www.fantasypumpkins.com/2005-...in-pattern.gif I see that many of these patterns take advantage of the thickness of the pumpkin to allow light to shine through. While we dont have that option in the wood we scroll, I wonder if this piece could be scrolled from three layers, in a light box frame. The center layer could have light shining on the front and back so it is illuminated slightly more than the back layer. That may give a similar effect to the original pumpkin design.
