Default If you do outdoor shows what canopy

What canopy do you use?
Where did you get it?
How expensive was it?
What size is it?
Does it have side walls?
What does your display look like?
I saw Kevin and Janette's displays, how about a few others sharing what they have found.

Do you make extra weights for the legs for wind?
If you do, how do you make them?
How does your brand hold up long term?
What else do you take to make your day comfortable?
Do you purchase a table/s or did you make a collapsible one?

Inquiring minds want to know!!!

Bought a 10x10 EZ-up brand at Wally World (Wall-Mart) for around $100 at the end of the season last year. Walls are available but as of now I haven't gotten them. Made weights for this as we now have it set up by the wive's studio/gift shop. Made these using 4 inch PVC tube 16 inches long, filled these with quikcrete and put an eye-bolt in the wet crete. Set the weights on a 4 by 4 to find how long of ropes I needed and tied S-hooks on the top which hook over the framework at the top. This has been up over a month now with no problems so far.

Hope this bit of info helps---am sure others have much better ideas but this was a quick brain-fart that I had for anchorage.

Thanks for the response...Are 1 gallon milk containers filled with water an option that works..I think water weighs about 8 lbs per gallon. Is that enough weight?
How much did your pvc pipes end up weighing?

many shows require you have a white canopy. The one costco sells is a good inexpensive option (under $200)(was Caravan, now it may be King). We use stakes and/or 8 - 30lb cat littler jugs filled with water. I want to make some like I've seen from 6" PVC pipes filled with sand or concrete. Seem much less bulky. Walls of some sort are a must if you have a more than one day show - unless you plan to take everything down each evening. (if a good gust comes up, I've seen ours lift up!)

As far as what else to make day comfortable... A little wine in a plastic Cranberry juice COCKTAIL bottle. is a definite must

Janette,
I was thinking of something filled with water so I could just empty them instead of having to carry all that weight around after a hot day in the sun.
The Wine does sound like the ticket...Thanks for the response.

We do fill the cat litter boxes with water - just remember a cart so you can lug it back to the booth.

I have an EZ UP that I bought from Sams club for $200.00 and it came with sides that fasten with velcro straps and zipper from top to bottom. The weights I use weight lifting weights, about 30lbs for each post.

Hey Mike,
If you can make it up to Leavenworth for the Art in the Park they have going on all summer. You will no doubt get many ideas on canopy's for outside shows. Hope this helps.

I bought a canopy from Home Depot for $79. IT is ten foot by ten foot and the fabric stays on the frame all the time. Even while collapsed. I drilled holes through large fake stones and connect to top of the frame with rope and bungee. I use three six foot long folding tables and I have made some display shelves that mount to the front of these tables to display small items. I have made display racks that attach to the back side of the tables to display afghans and such. I set all this up alone and with no tools. Takes me about 1/2 hour to be ready for sales.
