Default Full Sheet Lables for patterns

I have been reading people wondering the best way to put there patterns to there wood.

Here is my method.

I cover my whole workpiece with clear packing tape.

I then print my pattern or patterns on full sheet labels I get from Online Labels - Labels for laser and inkjet printers! Compatible with all popular software program for printing labels!

I just trim my pattern out of the sheet and stick it to my workpiece. If my pattern is small I will add more patterns to the sheet to save some money.

You can get 100 sheets for about $11 + shipping and if you buy in quantity you can save some more. I usually buy my sheets by the 1,000 count for around $89 + shipping.

You can also get removable labels for more money but I find that Im using the packing tape anyway so I dont need the removable stuff.

For those of you who do Intarsia and Segmentation they also offer clear labels.

Im not trying to sell these things, I just use them and like em. Saves me time and the mess of spray glues.

I also use there address labels for my price tags for my work at craft shows. I find that there labels are better quality and cheaper then the ones you get at the office stores.

I like that approach, Wizard. I have gone to the blue painters tape in lieu of the packing tape. Blue comes off so much cleaner. No glue residue to clean up. A friend gave me a pattern printed on this type of paper and I really liked it. I might have to give this a try.

I have used the sheets too and like them, however I apply them direct to the wood and use the clear tape over the pattern. No problem peeling them off. It's a lot better and cleaner than spray glue.

I have been using the label paper for awhile and use the copy feature of my fax machine to print my patterns. It saves alot of time and works great to stick the patterns directly to the wood. The patterns peel off nicely and leave little residue.

I've only been scrolling for 6 months but I always use the label paper. First I put a layer of blue painter's tape on the wood and then stick the patterns to the tape. Works well for me. Everything comes up nice and neat. My dad had suggested it to me when I started, he's been scrolling for years and that's what he does.
