| Grizzly Tools. Has anyone from Canada ordered tools from Grizzly tools in the US?
Their website says they will ship world wide except Canada.

| Alan . It may have something to do with Busy Bee Tools in Canada . I believe they were at one time the same company and then split . There was a falling out along the line .Or there may just be an agreement not to sell in each other's territory .
I got the same answer from JET Tools . I was told they were not to sell to Canada .
Any Grizzly tools I have , I picked up in Bellingham Wa .

| I was there last friday. Drove from Idaho and got stuck in traffic north of Seatle and got to bellingham at 5:03 I was on the way home and they are closed on the weekends.
Ramjet that might be right but Grizzly sells tool that BB tools does not. I have a friend coming up in a few months with a new puppy for the wife and she will bring up what I need from them. Just burns me up that I sat in traffic for 2 1/4 hours and missed them by 3 minutes.
A snivelling Alan. |

| I think I would have opened them back up. They need lessons in customer relations..

| They were all gone, the parking lot was empty other than the 7 customers who were late. It was a beutifull day and I guess they were in a rush to start the weekend.
I think the store was built close to the Canada border for a reason but then they don't open on saturday. I have gone down to get stuff before on a one day trip, but with the price of gas and $150 ferry it just gets to be too much.

| Alan . I spoke to Chris At House of Tools today Re Grizzly Tools . Part of the problem is having the tool CSA approved . It costs around $ 1000.00 per tool . It can be added to the other reasons why they don't ship to Canada . Do you know anyone in Point Roberts ?

| Nope, but I went back and looked at Bust Bee today. And lo and behold they now sell a flap/drum sander, with the same specs and looks as the Grizzly one. Just an extra hundred bucks. Not sure how long they have had it but it was not that long ago that I looked at their site for this and a lathe.

| Alan . Just a heads up on the tool show . This year it is being held at the Abbotsford Tradex center .Woodworking and Machinery Tool Show . Oct 17 -19 . It used to be held in Cloverdale . The one in Victoria is cancelled due to it falling on the ThanksGiving day holiday .You may be able to get some good deals there . The closest one in the States is in Portland and it is being held on the same weekend .
