Question Need dollhouse furniture patterns

Hello, everyone. I'm a newbie at this forum. I've been looking for nice dollhouse furniture patterns, and wondered if some of you out there had developed your own. I'm open to all kinds of ideas. They don't even have to be scrolled - any types of furnishings for dollhouses would be appreciated. I plan to build my first dollhouse for my granddaughter, and would like to furnish it as well. Thank you to anyone who will respond - you can get me at thumscottage@juno.com. Martha

Hi there Marthathum, I would like to welcome you to the forum. funny you would mention doll funiture, for I am making a doll house for my granddaughter also. the only patterns I have been abale to fine are in a couple books I have. maybe you can find something off these thoughts. fist off, there is some chairs and table, in the book The ARt of the Scrollsaw. buy Patrick Spielmon. and then another is, the book, buy Patrick Spielmon, Classic Fretwork Scrollsaw Patterns. there is the same chairs, table, and love seat, and bed, and babby bed or doll cradale.also tables, and even some picture frames, and easles. these patterns are from. Bertha Bluhm. I tryed to do a search on her and came up nile. but maybe you can do it better. but then the books are awsome. and you get lots of patterns other than you wish. maybe Fox Chapil. or Dirk Boelman, at the Art Factory. could help you find these patterns. hope this helped.
still welcome to the group. Evie

I got a used book the other day that has a bunch of doll furniture, snow sleighs strollers and a really neat doll house that folds up and stores in its base which is a suitcase style box.
The book is Better Homes and Gardens-
Wood Magazine-
"Favorite toys you can make"
It was published im 1991 by Meridith Corporation.

It is full of cool toys that look easy to make and are rugged enough for the little twits to play with. The tow truck will be my first project in this book.

Evie pointed you out to a couple leads I had in mind already, and in addition, if you can locate a copy of ScrollSaw Workshop , Issue #7, Summer 2002, theres a nice victorian dollhouse bed pattern in there .Its a sold out backissue, so you might have to be patient and watch eBay for a copy of it however. And, while you are building furniture, dont forget in the living room of that house should be a nice fancy grandfather clock, like the one in ScrollSaw Woodworking and Crafts, Issue #25, Holiday 2006 , still available here Scroll Saw Woodworking & Crafts Issue 25 Holiday 2006 , but I'd imagine the supply of that backissue is very limited so dont wait to long. And, welcome to the board here by the way!

Welcome to the forum marthathum......
I purchased a book from Fox Chapel Publishing Co. Inc. It has 24 projects in it for the American Girl and other 18 " dolls. The book is Making Doll Furniture in Wood by Dennis Simmons. The patterns, material list and directions are in the book. Very nice in my opinion.
