I was on holiday the past 2 weeks and went into a few used book stores. in one they had 2 complete shelves of wooden childrens toy books.
So you guys should check out your area and see if you can find some. At 4 or 5 bucks each I got seven and have a fresh list of stuff to build for the new rugrat.

One other thing, Heather got me a new glue gun. It is made by Stanley and has 3 tips that screw on. 2 of them are long tubes that let you reach in and put the glue where you want it. The tubes heat up when turned on, so no problem trying to clean them out.

I just bought some of the cheapo plastic sun catcher paint it yourself kits and am trying to make some snowflake and snowmen patterns from them. Doesn't look like it will be much of a stretch to change some of the lines around and make the sawable.
