Default Painting lots of vehicles.

G'day all,
Was busy down the shed today and just thought that, as a few of you are busy making lots of toys for charities, you may be interested in how I paint and lacquer my toy vehicles. Actually anything with an axle hole or hole for another reason I do this way.

It saves having to wait for 1 side to dry before going onto doing the other.

This method works whether you use dowels for axles or pegs.

I used to use Dowels, but they have started manufacturing them in metric sizes and 6mm is a bit to sloppy for the wheel centres, which are 1/4"

All I do is drill the axle hole right through the body, and thread the vehicles onto a couple of lengths of steel rod.

Spray one side, flip and spray the other.

John B,,,,, you never cease to amaze me. Not only in the work you do, but how you do the work. You are "Mister Gadget" when it comes to making it work. Styafoam and a few steel rods. You need to start patenting some of that stuff.

Yea I do sell them, but they are part of the alphabet trains I make.
The price depends on the number of letters in a kid's name.

Thanks
