Default Photoshop Elements

Does anyone use this software for portrait making? I have the program but have not figured out how to make a portrait with it yet.

I have it but haven't been able to figure it out either. I have better luck manipulating photos with it. I have been looking at Steve Goods videos on Corel and it seems to be easier, but don't know.

Almost all Adobie graphic software have a steep learning curve to do more than the basic things.

Hey,

Try the tutorial from Kerry. I just got it this week and it has helped me more than anything. I've already tried books and other online tutorials, this is the one you want. IMHO its worth every penny. How to Create Scroll Saw Patterns

Diane,
Several of the MSN groups have tutorials for Elements. AFSP, SSP and the Scroller's Cafe I believe all have free tutorials for it. I haven't played with it much so I can't be of much help.

Ben
I went to look on that page and it is for Photoshop not Photoshop Elements which are two different programs.

The tools may be located under different menu pulldowns but most of what's in Photoshop is in Elements. Here's a direct link to my tutorial done with Elements v2.0. I haven't upgraded it so you may have to look through the menu's but it should all be there somewhere. It's a very basic tutorial and doesn't cover the artistic side of actually drawing within the automated processes available but ...

Hopefully it gets you started in the right direction Diane
