| 3/16 thick wood? For the lovers clock in Ultimate Scrolling Patterns the author says to use 3/16 thick wood, does anyone know where you can find. I went to most of the sites in the magazine and no one has it. |

| Try deer56hunter on eBay. I get most of my thin wood from Kim. GREAT stuff.

| Yup deer56hunter is the best! I get all of my thin stuff from him, he has alot of stuff on ebay but if you need a custom order he will cut anything you want. I just ordered a bunch of 3/16 walnut and some mahogany and should be getting it tomorrow. I have always been pleased with his service.

| I noticed that he will send to Canada. Might order at some point and see how it is.
Thanks
Diane

| You may be ok using 1/4th inch thick wood, it depends on exactly how the pieces line up.Have you tried requesting some sanded down to your spec {3/16"} from a place like Peterson's Custom Lumber, or Quality Lumber at Affordable Prices! Hardwood Lumber for all your woodworking needs! ? I think either would do it for you.If nothing else, photocopy the pattern at 133.33% and it will be doable using 1/4th inch thick wood.

| Just letting you know I got my walnut and mahogany the other day and it is beautiful. Every board is the exact thickness and some very nice grain. This is the fourth time I have purchased wood from Kim and every time it has been beyond my expectations.

| I have never understood why someone would design somthing like a clock for such an oddball wood thickness. Things should be designed to use "standard" and easily available materials.
I am sorry if my comments seem a bit negative, but I just don't get it.
