Default Anyone tried ordering these mags?

Trying to order The Australsian Toy-Maker magazines advertised in this issue of this fine magazine (SSWC) and everytime I get to the check out my MSN shuts down. Anyone else try to order these and if so did you get thru ok? I make several toys and after checking out the site these magazines look like a lot of fun to me and would help the kids in the 4-H club I am starting.

Feel free and jump in like a Roo John B and tell me what you think of this magazine--I am sure you have at least taken a look see and have some knowledge of it.

Thanks Pat

G'day Pat,
I purchased the whole 5 issues just this year. They are pretty good value for money and have a range of projects from the rough and simple to complex and extravagant.

I very rarely copy designs straight from magazine, especially when making my toys, I just get a kick start or ideas and these are full of them.

I'm not sure of the link you have as I haven't received my SSWC mag yet, but I ordered mine through Skills Publishing Online

Good luck and I'm sure they'll provide lot's of inspiration.

Don't forget the Metric/Imperial Tape LOL

Thank you John for the input. Like you, rarely do I make anything from a pattern--just wing it after I get the ideas. By the looks of the website I went to it appears there are quite a number of ideas that I could glom unto from the magazines. It was Skillspublish site that was giving me the boot when I try to order.

As far as metrics go, trust me I have done quite a bit of work on machinery that was built using metrics. A number of the power generating turbines used in powerhouses here in the US of A come from overseas along with paper machines, robots and the ilk. Truth be told, I rather enjoy working with metrics once I get it thru my thick skull that that is what I am dealing with at the time.
