Default Hi! I'm new & new a Delta manual

Hi!

I'm new to scrolling. Or more correctly, I'm back after a 25+ years absence.

So many things are different that I might as well be new.

I'm currently unemployed and thought I ought to do something useful, creative and fun.

I picked up a Delta 40-540 at a local pawn shop and would really like to find an Owner's Manual for it.

Does anyone has a spare?

Does anyone have a PDF of the manual?

Thanks!

Candy, try OWWM. for an owner's manual. You could also try sending an e-mail to info@ridgidwoodworking.com. I sent them an e-mail asking for a manual for a 1960 era Craftsman 10" table saw, they sent me a copy via U.S. Mail free of charge.

Candy:

Delta manuals are not much. very little info.

Here is a link to Delta, Porter-Cable, and DeWalt service center. Some manuals and parts lists are around. Be aware, since Black & Decker got control of Delta, Delta scroll saw support has almost dropped off the planet.

below is link (I hope) to parts list.

good luck trying to revive an old 16 inch Delta scroll saw. You could end up with a lot of problems.

Default Manual for Delta 40-540

Many thanks to all who replied but especially to Graybeard Phil who sent me a link to the exact manual I was looking for and another link to a parts list and diagram!

Fortunely the saw is working so as soon as I review everything and attend to the lubrication, I'll be ready to go!

Thanks Again
