| A floor for us klutz types. Thanks to a drunk driver my right hand gets numb and I drop things quite often. A few years ago I bought a stack of rubber flooring. they are 2 feet square and and inch thick. They are made out of used tires and are sold for golf clubs to use in their buildings. Seems people wear nail thingys on their shoes at those places. Anyway this stuff is great, It is great to stand on instead of cement and it also saves a lot of breakage if you drop any project you are working on. The down side is that when you drop stuff it bounces, and of course end up under something. This stuff is expencive but if you are having problems standing for hours on a hard floor it is worth it. Just buy a good flashlight to look for those small parts! |

I have a long flexible thing (don't know what its called, I call it a grabber), that has a small claw like on the end. You push the button an it opens, release the button and it clams on to what you want to pick up.
ok............. get you minds out of the gutter folks.

| How bad did the matting smell, and for how long?
I put down a rubbery garage floor matting that I bought from COSCO.
it is about 3/16 thick 10 ft wide by ~17 feet long.
It is easy to clean and easy on the feet.

| I bought a sheet of hard rubber that the feed mercantiles sell for horses to stand on . I was going to put it in my pick up bed but the smell was intolerable . Left it outside to air and eventually used it under my scroll saw .Try tongs to pick up your dropped pieces . Cheers . Roger |
