|  You can also buy the strut mentioned above made with metal, in the lock section of your hardware store. for a couple of bucks. |

| Well, I'll be darned! All the problems I have with drill presses and the solution was right in my shop! I have 5, yes 5 of them ***** machines and could never get a straight drill except with my dremel. But I never ever thought to rotate the arm to the back and put it on a platform for larger pieces!!! No more angled holes from this chick!!! Thanks everyone!! Will have hubby make the platform tomorrow. Second thought, I'll make the platform!! Betty
