| Large Key pattern needed hi
swaping my lathe for my scrollsaw again, i have promised to cut a key pattern (for hanging keys on) to a young lady who is just starting a new business, and i am hoping to be getting some cuttings in there.
Can anyone point me in the right direction please.. |

| Hi Steve, I dont have a pattern, but do have a idea. what is her busness. a store? you say you will be putting cuttings in there. or did I read roung. maybe something with her busness. nicknacks, or woodworking, or, what ever she does. it doesn't matter the subject. just that it has the key pegs on it right. I would use dowls. slanted up as to hold the keys, and not slip off. thats easy. just shim the back of the project up with a wedg or pice of wood. and drill the holes with a spade bit. or drill bit. and glue in. just a thought. your friend Evie |

| How about taking a photo of a key then enlarging it for your pattern.

JohnB had a key rack he showed in this thread 21st Key Idea
maybe he would let you use the pattern. Won't hurt to ask. |

| Steve,
MS Word has several keys in their clipart that can be adapted to make a pattern. If nothing else, pick up a pencil and draw a key. I thinks I saw a key pattern in one of the earlier editions of a scrolling magazine, also. Good luck with your search.
