| Hi . Try, Welcome to the 2008 Woodworking Shows! .I just returned from Puyallup Wa. a week ago . The show is mostly retailers selling product and seminars are held . I saw a CarveWright cnc router being demonstrated . Not much in the way of local crafts on display . The industry is missing a huge opportunity by not bringing local craft talent in ,to show the public what is out there . Could be the cost to display is prohibited ? Hope this helps .Roger |

| If we can get something like that set up, I'll come in from Arizona.

| Cali would be good, any excuse to get back home for a bit. Sacramento has some great venues, but they probably want your left leg for them . . . . |

| Look for wood carving shows and check them out. There is one that comes to my area and they have a lot of scrollers there also. In fact, that's where we started forming our local scroll saw club. So far I've heard about a couple of woodworking shows in Southern California, but they have been a bit of a let down for scrolles.
