The ones I ordered from Sloans indicate they are a clear plastic with red covers with a hook on the cover to hang them (perhaps from a pegboard). Maybe I'm picky, but what I've seen seems to be cheapish re construction. Those that came with my saw are maybe 1/2" in diameter, hardly big enough to roll the paper label into so I'll know what blade type/size it contains. The holes in my Excalibur are elongated and approximatel 5/8" at the narrow end. That will dictate the largest diameter tube that will fit.

Smile Free Blade Holders

The next time you visit your local supermsarket ask the clerk in the produce department to save you the holders on roll bags, they are 5" high and 1 1/8' wide, and the stand can be made out of 2x3 . They only through the old tubes out when empty.I use them and they work out very well. Edward

Lots of good ideas here. My Sloan holders arrived and while they will hold saw blades nicely the tubes are too large in diameter to fit in the slots of my new saw. Oh well.

My saw is so new Rolf, I guard it like a new car. I stand there with a rag just waiting for a speck of sawdust to fall on it. Then I go into action. And you want me to drill it? Perish the thought.
