Default reinventing the glue stick

Just got an order from Intasia.com and it has info on a machine that laminates, stays laminated while cutting and removes residue free. It does patterns up to 9" wide. They have a 12" model but the price is way up there.
The web site is Wire, Comb, Coil Binding Machines and Supplies, Laminators, More ? Pro Binding and then do a search for xyron Model 900. It will laminate 1 or 2 sides as your wish or laminate 1 side and permanent or repositionale glue on the other. It looks real interesting. Anybody ever use it? Could be another new toy for the shop! web is probinding.com

I don't understand. Do you laminate the pattern, or do you laminate the pattern to the wood? It only shows laminating paper on the web site. If you laminate onto wood, how thick can you go?

I don't own one either but from what I read it puts laminate on the front side of your pattern and at the same time a repositionable glue on the backside of you pattern.
