| Horse Picture Progression I'm continuing to plug along on my newest lathart picture if anyone wants to check out the blog. I've been using diluted oil paint on this one instead of acrylics, and I really like the affect. It gives a stained appearance. If anyone wants to post any questions on the blog you'll have to create a google account. It is really simple, but you just have to remember to put your e-mail address in the user name box, and then your password. I didn't know this at first when I started posting comments to the creator of this blog, because i was putting my display name in and could'nt get it to work. And obviously you can post any questions here also, and I''ll do my best to monitor this site. With four kids, and a restaurant to run I keep pretty busy , but I sure do love my creative time. I'd put the images in here, but I'm still trying to figure out how to reduce the file size so that I can.

| That colouring seems to be working well, Chris. Nice chestnut colour on the horse and the fence definitely looks like weathered wood there.
It's always nice to see WIP.

| That is really cool! I like it very much. I think the coloring on the horse and the fence are just right. The lathart intrigues me, it is different than anything I've seen before. It looks very good!!

| That looks good, Chris. The colours came out great. I'd never seen this lathart before. It's an interesting techique.
Is the part with the grass blades painted on or is that a cut?
