Default Interesting Ideas.

G'day all,
Came across a sight that has some rather interesting ideas, and is just a fun read.
It wasn't really of topic so I put it here.

Interesting John, I built a top for my scroll saw. I traced the outline of the top onto a 2'x4' piece of plywood, and took my router and cut the inset for my scrollsaw top about 1/2". then I set it up so that I could do a long pattern sideways with a spiral blade because of the throat restrictions at only 16" on my saw. It worked really good. I try to post of picture of what I mean. This is the project that I cut like this.

Ideas worth considering.

John and Doc

Some great ideas, but one came a week too late. I just picked up my sewing machine from the menders today. Cost me £35 (around $70). Had I have read this last week, I may have dared an attempt at doing it myself. Never mind, it works now. I have just made some draw string bags for my animal jigsaws.
(frugal pressie for grand-daughter's 2nd birthday - see I think the same way!)

Great site, we barter lots of stuff here, too. eg our old saw table for some reed panelled fencing and a lamb for the freezer, a garden gate for the loan of a classic car a neighbour's interview for some mahogany for out boat. (she got the job, so I got wine and flowers, too!)

I love the animation of the sewing process. I have never quite understood how it all worked. It is finally clear, thanks.
