Since were on the subject, (copy cat carvings), I did my own version of one of Teris' book carvings as a Christmas gift for my Mom...(don't worry Teri, mine looked like reindeer droppings too compared to yours, and they won't show up on Ebay either, I swear!!)

The coolest thing was I was able to experience a little of the excitment Teri must have felt when coming up with such a wonderful idea.
It also spawned a few new ideas for me in the process!

By the way Nancy...the carving looks great!

Nancy,
I'd love to meet you all at Branson. What a hoot that would be. Let me know the date so I can put it on the calendar before someone else gets it! Are they going for the spring Silver Dollar City workshops?

The latest issue of Chip Chats says the seminars at Branson/Silver Dollar City are March 7-11 and Dave Stetson and Michele Carville are both teaching classes.
BTW - both are remarkable people. I'll bet you know Dave's caricature work. Michele is teaching an Old World Santa carving class. Her Santas are fantastic.
