Default A Christmas Story

I wanted to share my Christmas story with all of you. Last year we moved from a home we spent over 20 years at, and left many memories. One of the memories was when my wife and I walked every day we stopped and gave apples to two horses our neighbor had. They would see us coming and run up for their apples. My wife adopted them in her heart. She was looking at some pictures several months back, and found a picture she had taken of those horses and stated that she missed seeing them every day. Well I took the picture and carved her a clock for Christmas. The likeness was great. Yesterday I gave my wife her Christmas present and when she saw the horses she started crying. She said that I had imortlized her memory of her horses. I have posted a couple pictures of the clock for you to see on our picture site. I am not the greatest carver around, but my wife says I could have given her nothing better for Christmas this year. May your holidays be blessed and joyous. Imortilize a memory for someone.

Absolutely beautiful - both the carving AND the story

Thanks for sharing both with us.
