* * While you're there check out my other new photos, Sarah and Don's deer. *Also, I put a picture in of my very first carving, it's the only other Santa I have done and it's on a piece of one by pine that my husband had cut out years ago for me to paint....it's the only piece of wood I had to try my new hobby on! *Thanks, Callynne * *

Callyne, I just went to the sight and, based on Al's sayin' it was ok (thanx, Al), removed two pics from the bottom. I wouldn't remove anything if the poster didn't say it was ok, but there's one more slot there...I just posted my most recent. It's my first pic post, so be gentle!

Wow, Callynne! Your detail always amazes me...how on earth do you get him so smooth, but leave the contours? My stuff is always a bit 'scruffy' around the edges, although I've gotten rid of quite a bit of that now that I've been shown how to sharpen a knife! Big difference slicing rather than crushing the wood, huh?
