Default Christmas Ornament patterns sought

Hi guys,
Our carving club just voted to do a Christmas Tree filled with our carved ornaments to donate to the local WMCA Christmas auction. They want all icicles, angels, and snowmen for the theme.

Do any of you have patterns for these kinds of Christmas ornaments? I've got 2-3 snowmen, a couple of angels, but no icicles and would welcome any patterns of the three topics you might have and would share so I can share them with the club.

I would really appreciate your help.

Donna T

Thanks

Thanks Charlie and Hi Ho. Does Bill Coffeyman have a site or a book? If I don't find any new ones in the next couple of weeks, I'll holler Hi HO.... Appreciate the offer (I did get your email-Thanks!) and that would be great.

Donna,.....You can find information on the web, do a search for chip carving icicles, I have seen some sites but do not have any address saved.

If you have back issues of 'Wood Carving Illustrated' or maybe one of the club members may have one, I did my carving based on article and pictures in the Holiday 2001 Issue #17, page #44-46. If you can't find a back issue, give me a mailing address and I'll make a copy of the article for you.

I modified my icicle, and enjoyed carving it very much, for whats its worth you can see it on my picturetrail site.

Charlie...Thanks for the kind words, especially coming from such a great carver, yourself.

Bill,
I just took a look at your picture trail sight I love your carvings if you hadnt post them on the the holiday I would never had seen them. Love the native carving I almost went to Niagra Falls show last year but had a previous engagement I think I will go next year though. Really nice carvings.

Donna, I just posted a photo of a snowman and star Christmas ornament on picturetrail. They may be too simple for your needs, but if you want the patterns, I can snail-mail or FAX them. Mike

Colin, Thanks for the comments, but I'm not anywhere up to your level yet. I always check out your pics, love the style, and great carvings too.

Just did 4 spirits while on vacation last week, will have pics up soon, need to sand & apply a finish first. Again, Thanks
