Bill, You have been quiet it is nice to hear from you again. I dont have any patterns but how about this for an idea. Carve that santa with a dalmation with a gift package in his mouth and Santa cocking his leg on a fire hydrant. ![]() You know what if you did it, it would probably sell very fast. Colin |

Hi Coffeeman, Although I've not been here very much this summer, I've not seen you around much either--so it's good to see you! I've seen several Santas (statues) that were Firemen. Hallmark had some in their ornaments some time in the past (if I remember right) and seems like there were some in the past two 'Christmas' magazines. Sorry I can't be of more help...and I can't find my old Christmas magazine issues. Maybe this will give you something to start your search. Sometimes, just seeing how someone else has done an idea you have, it gives you a starting point with which to expand it to include your own interpretation. Hope you find your inspiration--be sure to let us see the results. Donna T |

Hi-Ho, Colin, Donna..... Thanks for your comments and I guess I haven't been on the board much this summer.....So sorry......Been real busy this summer, did get some carvings done, have five entries in a show right now, will post results on Monday and a pic or two. Your words have sparked my imagination and I'm leaning towards to up a collage of firemen apparatus (tools, etc) around an xmas ornament theme. My youngest son, (16) became approved in our local volunteer firehall, so this ornament is going to be a surprise gift for him, as a keeper to remember this special event bye. So all three of you really got me thinking in the right direction, thanks alot and will keep you posted. Coffeeman |

Hey Coffeeman, I finally found the color picture of the fireman santa that I thought I had. If you'll email me your snail mail address, I'll stick it in the mail to you. Donna T. |
