Nancy, Seems like you're having technical problems. Anything I can do to help? If there is a problem, I'll get our tech people on it right away. Bob

If you have tech people Bob, ask them how in the @#$%&* you get rid of the Incredimail Install popup! I started to install incredimail and saw all the personal info they wanted and there is only one reason for that! so they can sell it! So I uninstalled what I had started...I went into search and there was one file and deleted it, but on startup am still getting the incredimail window that says install was not completed, complete now or later! can't get rid of that garbage...people should boycott all sites that pull that stuff!! :-X

I have the same problem with that. My wife started downloading it, and ended up finding the file on my hard drive and deleting it all there. Uninstall actually only removes any original programs. Additional programs, such as those that spin off the origional (like tha pesky continue installing program) are not removed. Type incredimail into your file finder program and see what turns up on your hard drive. That worked for me, so let me know if I need to contact the real experts -- this is just off the top of my head. Bob

BobD -- I'm always having technical problems (you should watch me try to sharpen a veiner )... I'm seriously techno-impaired.In his Yellow Throat thread, David Sercel told Coffeeman how to post a photo in his message. His quote is: Coffeeman, You have to have the photos uploaded to the internet, either to somewhere like Picturetrail or another website. Once you do, right click the image you want to post and a menu will drop down. Go down to the last item on the menu which is 'properties' and select that. A window will open with info about that picture. Halfway down in the window is an internet address labeled 'Address (URL)'. Copy that address and paste it into the reply window on the message board. Select the text of the address and then click this button: wich is located above the text window. This should place the right sets of code around the image. That's what I was trying, so unsuccessfully, to do. I was trying to post the photo of http://community.webshots.com/photo/...85194967PdAgJN Oh well :-[ |
