Default Big (600 Lb) Pumpkin Carvings

I hope you don't mind my posting this in Holiday Carving. I figured pumpkin carving tends to be a Halloween thing which is a sort of holiday, at least for the kids getting a sugar rush.
Last Saturday I had the opportunity to join two other club members to carve a 600 lb. pumpkin for Kohler's Food & Wine Experience in Kohler, WI. The previous day, artsists from the arts center carved their imaginative creation. I've placed a few pictures in the Holiday Carvings album on PictureTrail.

We were asked to carve their logo and a few other theme related images. The weather was miserable, wet and windy, but we completed it. Had it been nicer we may have been more creative.
I hope you find these interesting.

great job I just love pumkin carving I have carved a whole bunch for the grandchildren for halloween. The only thing I discovered (at the expense of my right hand) that stop cuts are really not stop cuts when carving pumkins. :
