Well -- I'm home , too tired to move, but happy. Had a note from Teri and she's home, tired and happy. Al Longo should be home in a couple of hours. I'm certain we'll soon hear from Callynne, Woody and others. The show went well and it was GREAT seeing everyone. We had a ball. For me (heeheeheehee) the best part was seeing such a tremendous assortment of fantastic Santas to copy !! I'll be posting photos soo.

Hi Nancy, glad to hear you made it home fine and that the show went well. Jody and I were so disappointed that we just couldn't make it, but we'll try hard for next year. Can't wait to see the pictures! |

Hi everyone, yes, I'm home too, and like Nancy I'm exhausted!! Excited still, but exhausted! It was so great to finally be able to put faces with all the people I've 'met' here, and to find that everyone was just as nice as I thought they'd be! It's truly amazing that one person, Santa that is, can be carved in so many fantastic ways, imagination is a wonderful thing!! Being there and seeing all those terrific Santas has certainly sparked mine! Sorry I didn't get to meet you and your wife Rick, another time! And speaking of time, it's time to start working my way though that mountain of dirty clothes! :-/ Talk to you all later! Callynne

I also enjoyed the night. Meeting the people on this message board was the highlight of the evening. All are great carvers and super nice. I was very lucky because I was home by 9:30 that night, but stayed up making notes of all the ways I could improve my carvings. You can go to http://www.folkworks.com to see some pictures of this years Santas. Keep Carving Woody01 |

Add me to that list. How FUN to get to spend time with everyone. I'm sorry I'm not around here much lately, I'm just busy trying to keep up ( who isn't, I know ). Getting a chance to spend a couple days with fellow carvers, laugh and talk about anything and everything made the Chicago trip an absolutely success. Teri
