...figured it was time to share pics of last years Santa... http://www.picturetrail.com/gallery/...&members=1 (I also figured out how to upload pics....) this carving was my entry into the magazines Santa contest, i have entered this years but did not feel it would be appropriate to post until the contest has been completed... ...let me know what ya guys think... |

...thanks guys, I can thank the better half for the snowflake idea (yes she gets dome of the credit...) ...this was my first attempt at orignal design. Of course I did not give myself enough time for some additional finishing details (and still did not give myself enough time this year...) Hopefully with all the information I learn here I can continue to improve. |

Tony -- a really good looking, well done Santa. I couldn't see one thing to whine about ![]() When can we see one of this year's entry? I've never found the nerve to enter a contest or even a show. Every year since Woodcraft started that contest, I print the rules, put them on my bulletin board and promise myself that 'this year' I'll enter but then chicken out. I can see why YOU'RE brave enough. Which store did you use to enter? Do you sell you work? |
