Boomerangs remind me of Blackadder II - remember how impressed Queenie was when she was given one?

I used to have a boomerang and it definitely came back. I can remember throwing it once and was shocked as a loose rottweiler leaped past me to fetch it. The look on the poor dog's face when I caught it on the return was an absolute picture and its owner collapsed in tears of laughter.

It's nice to see some other comedy classics on that YouTube link, especially Rolf Harris and Bernard Cribbens.

I guess mostly Poms and Ozzies will remember these classic sitcoms but there really were some great programs and associated tunes coming out of the UK in the 60's and 70's.

Me, I was weaned out of an adolescent introverted state on programs like The Two Ronnies, The Goon Show, Charlie Drake, Monty Pythons Flying Circus and the all time classic of comedic innuendo, Benny Hill. Songs like Benny Hill's "Ernie (The Fastest Milkman in the West)" still give me a chuckle even if I have to semi translate them to the missus!

Jim, It's been a long time since I heard "Ernie" LOL.
Used to like "the Benny Hill Show" but saw a rerun a few weeks ago and it hasn't aged well.

By the strangest coincidence, two days ago Amazon delivered the Ernie album to me! Most of the tracks have stood up surprisingly well to the passage of time.
