Default Workshop & Projects

Just thought I'd post a few pics of my shop & projects. Please let me know what you think of my work. Always welcome the advice of others.

I started a new project today. If you look at the table in my shop you'll see two of several clock gears from the Marc Tover wooden geared clock plans. Boy do I have a new appreciation for those who have cut wooden geared clocks, especially those more complicated than this one. But I'm going to conquer this one though it may take some time.

You've made some lovely pieces, Troy. The photograph frame reminds me of some very attractive frames that Linda Lawson makes.

Thanks "Gill" sorry about the misspell earlier just wasn't paying attention. Or maybe I am dyslexic. The frame is one of the first pieces that I scrolled. The pics in it are my wife's mother & grandmother. I think the b&w pics give the frame character.

Troy, that is nice work and a super shop. I am working on my work shop now. I have most of the electrical work done and I am insulating it so I can keep some heat in next winter. Hopefully in a week or two I can have it finished so I can start on the clock. It's driving me nuts not being able to do any projects but it is fun working on my shop anyway. This is what my workshop looked like about a month ago.

Yea, it does kind of make it tough to scroll in the snow. Acutally, it was closed in and shingled two days later. Last weekend I got most of the lighting done and I am now getting the dust collector set up and I will finish panelling the walls this week if all goes well.
