| Velvet revisited
My cutting of Jeff Zaffino's "Fishing The Dawn". Tried black velvet as a backer and didn't care for it. Painted 1/8" luan plywood with semi-flat black paint as a backer. Painted the frame the same. Cut from 1/4" Finnish BB. 8 1/2" X 11".

| Nice job Mick. That is the 1 pattern of Jeff's I plan on cutting someday. At least that one doesn't require 500 entry holes.
I have actually started using black plexiglass for my backers. It costs a tad more but I like the way it looks and I don't have to paint it. |

| I use either black acrylic, or black matt board. The matt board I like does have a velvety texture. Dale |

| Great job! Well done, Mick, Wow that looks great. I like the finish, it look like there out early in the morning with the fog rolling in. Good job.
