Default Cuttin again

Well I finally got something done. This for my wifes Birthday. It is a Sue Mey pattern that I changed a little. I sure hope that Sue dosn't mind. I used 1/4 BB ply for the main part and 1/8 BBply for the feathers. Pecan stain and clear finish. Silver beads and leather to hang the feathers with a spot of CA to hold em tight.
She loves it and ask for more. I told her no more till I get a new saw. Most of the cutouts took longer to setup the blade to cut than to cut. I have a Craftsman 16 and want a DW788.

Thanks for lookin.

So happy to see you finally back in the shop and making sawdust. Nicely done!

Good to see you scrolling and a very nice project to boot.
I would be careful what you post here in case your wife reads it, she may think the BD gift was all a scam to get a new saw.

I remember my craftsman well it took two minutes to lossen, feed tighten and tension for a 2sec cut.

Rolf ; I am very sure that she wont read this. She has a laptop for her games and facebook and don't go to any other sites.

Pinelog; I think I will buy local. That way I can save on shipping if I have to send it back.

Sandy Oaks; I did a test strip of 5 different stains to get that one.
