Default Wood Rack

It aint beautiful but its finally made - I've been wanting to build a rack for 2 years now so I can get my wood out of my way and so I can find what I'm looking for relatively quickly. It took ruining a nice piece of oak and one of cherry (about $60 worth of wood - warped badly) to finally get around to making the rack. It's about 6 feet high and 8 feet long. It'll work well enough for me for now with my limited space.

Thanks... I moved my wood out to the tent this spring and just had it all lying on a couple pieces of scrap wood. The cherry and oak boards were on the bottom - both about 10 inches wide each - they must've drawn moisture up from the ground since they were only an inch or so above ground - I'll be able to rip them in half and still use them but...

My work area is 8 by 6 - really small - getting the wood out of there was a priority, but I cant have it going to waste. The tent is actually bigger than my work area but the winter cold would be just to much to work in. The rack cost me 16 - 2x4x8's and 4 - 2x6x8's and about 4 hours... pretty small cost... hate to think I put it off for 2 years. Oh well... isn't the saying - if you rush to much you'll break it?

Don't give up on them yet , turn them over and let the other side dry out.Bill
