Default Adobe PDF files

Hi folks, I have a problem hopefully someone can help me with. I just bought some patterns from Sue Mey. My problems are that I cant figure out how to size them up. I got some Christmas ornaments and there a bit small for me, so I wanted to make them a tad bigger but when i use the enlarge thing it makes em bigger on the screen but they do not print bigger, they stay the same size
This very frustrating. I also bought a box pattern from her and it prints out ok except it cuts off the bottom part of the bottom layer of the box by about an inch but does not print onto another page. I love her patterns just need some education on how to fix em

SeanR, the way I do this is to import the pdf files into Corel Draw to resize.
happy scrolling

The easiest way, if you have a copier or all-in-one printer, would be to print them out normal size and then use the copier to enlarge them. --ekmouse

Resizing per Ekmouse's suggestion is the easiest low tech way. If you don't have access to a device that will do that, I would download the free gimp program from www.gimp.org. This program will allow you to rescale the image without a lot of effort.

Sue Mey might be willing to do this for you as part of her customer service. I would do it for you, but I'm not sure of the legality of sending me the pdfs, even if I disregarded them after I adjusted them and sent them back.

I usually take a snapshot in the PDF and then paste it into Word then you can crop and resize it.

SeanR,
Many printer drivers will allow you to resize "on the fly" so to speak. Before you hit print, see if you have a series of options such as "actual size", "Print to fit", "best fit". If so, "Print to fit" will allow you to get an image on a full sheet that you can take to a friend with an all-in one printer that can reduce the copies for you' or go to a UPS store or an office supply store for their help.
Some times these options are found under the printer name when you click on it or under Properties, when you click on that. If you have the manual that came with your printer, you should be able to look up how to change the settings.
Good luck, Lou Hodson
