Default Rhode Island Tru-Quarter™

Not sure how many of you know that my other hobby is making fountain pens and rollerballs, but I cut out the state quarters and cast them in a resin to create these unique one-of-a-kind gifts! So i thought i would share the Rhode Island State quarter. However, this isnt just a regular thickness quarter that i cut out, it has been shaved down about a third the thickness of a normal quarter and then cut out using my dremel 1680 scroll saw. C & C welcome!

Wonderful work!
OK - how do you shave down the quarter before you scroll it?

Why do you have to shave them down? Full size you can mtg them for a chain or key chain. Awful thin to cut and not bend.

Jim , I have to shave them thin because i am working within a certain tollerance of thickness, then once i am done cutting them out, they are bent around a tube and cast in resin. Feel free to check out my website to see how the pens look, it might make more sense
