Default starting on the holiday

Thought i would start working on some christmas items, before it gets to late. Here is a sleigh i just finished, now to do the horses.

Very cute sleigh,Cliff.Because of the change in climate we have been unable to receive any snowfalls recent couple of years here in Tokat,Turkey.Hope you have .

We had snow fall here yesterday, nothing to shake a stick at but it snowed. Bozeman which is just about 150 miles east of me had 8 inches yesterday.

Nice job on your sleigh. You are right on the ball, I still have three sleighs all cut out ready for paint from last year, but after your post I think I willsay they are new for this year.lol.

I used 3/4 in. Birch ply. not real pleased with the outcome though, because of the edges facing up, the wood ply's stand out more than i want. Thinking about 3/4 in cedar next time, if i can find 1x10's, if not may try gluing two 1x6's together.
