I'm not sure what you mean by temporary glue but I use Mineral spirits to remove spray adhesives..or a scraper if it's more permanent glues.

I use "Xtreme Goo Gone" It works great I also use it to clean up mistakes. It is an all-round cleanup

I use mineral spirits to get the pattern and spray adhesive off. Just use a small paint brush and spread mineral spirits over the pattern and let soak for a about a minute. then the pattern should just lift off and you can wipe the rest off. Then just let the mineral spirits dry. Works great. Or when you go to apply your pattern to the wood, first start with clear packing tape on piece of wood then put pattern over the tape. Then your pattern won't stay glued to the wood. Either way works fine.... Bob |

I use the spray adhehsive but leave it to sit for a bit then when it becomes tacky on the paper I lay it on the wood. It then tends to peel off easily. A few little bits will tend to be stuck but a little elbow grease and patience will get them off. I will give the metho a go on those bits now tho!

Use a spray bottle with mineral spirits or paint thinner. Spray the pattern, wait about 5 minutes and the patter will pull of easily. Spray again and wipe to get the excess glue off and you are ready to sand. Tom

I agree with Bob except I use masking tape on the wood then glue the pattern to the tape

I cover the wood with cheap masking tape ($0.97 at Lowe's). I spray glue on the back of the pattern, let it set up and attach the pattern on top of the masking tape. Once your finished cutting, the pattern simply peels off the wood with absolutely no clean up. Try it you'll like it!
