Default Unusual Birds !

This was the most unusual photo that I've seen in a long time. I was wondering if it would be possible to make a pattern of it. The man who took the photo is Pat Gaines, in Bonny Lake State Park near the Colorado, Kansas border. Was placed in the Denver Post newspaper by Howard Pankratz. Would make a fantastic cutting, I think. Would we have to have permission for that photo? Let us know. Perk

I would say yes you would need to have permission b/c it being from a newspaper it is copyrighted by the photographer and the newspaper. Though I would almost say they would probably give you the go ahead and maybe even put it into their newspaper. I say this b/c I've done something similar to this and they agreed for me to do it but only for myself and send them a copy of the pattern and finished piece and then I saw it in the newspaper with my name on it, that was a great thing b/c after that I got busy with orders for a few weeks. Anyways, I would say contact the newspaper first and be sure to give them a good explanation on what you are wanting to do.
