Default #3 ice cycle. scrolled

this is #3 ice cycle I am doing. it didn't come out the way i really wished it would. but I did make a pattern, YEP little old me. and put it on a 1/2" x 1/2" x 6" bass wood stick. and did it on the scrollsaw. boy this compound pattern making is not easy. but I did learn from it. and have got some ideas how to make one better. I didn't put tons of work into it. for I am just practising the thought I have. the notchs on the sides are done very fast with a drimal rotary tool, with a very small skinny cone bit. I am going to put some pretty beads in side the center parts. but wonted to show you what I had so far.
I am visulizing lots of things, hope you come up with something also. I could care less about the credit to it. for I am kinda takeing someone elses ice cycale idea and trying to make it for scrollers. gosh hope that is ok. COPY RIGHTS. YIKES. thanks for looking, your friend Evie

Evie,
That cutting is terrific!!! I haven't quite got the nerve to try any of the compound cuttings yet, maybe someday.

Keep it up.

Very nicely done Evie. That looks wonderful. I would most definitely be interested if you do end up making a pattern to share, because I love the idea!

G'day Evie,
Super job, especially considering the timber was only 1/2 x 1/2". Boy that's tiny.
Now I may have a shot on a piece of 2 x 2".
