Unhappy Help, Mayday, Emergency Aaaaaaaaaa

I just finished a commision out of walnut plywood and when I removed the pattern the wood was a different color in some places, What do I do??????? To compound the problem the piece has about 200 interior cuts and was due Sunday. Does anyone have help please?

It might be glue residue on the wood "throwing" the light differently on the face.
Try touching the face and feel for any sticky areas,if you have any then that is glue residue.wipe off with mineral spirits on a piece of paper towel.
If you're talking about the inside cuts being lighter than thats just the plywood, nothing you can do but use some walnut stain in the cut out areas to try to match up the face.
Hope this helps.

Your description isn't enough to make any kind of a diagnosis. Did you spill anything on the pattern while it was attached? What did you use to attach it? What does the discoloration look like?

Yeah, some pictures would be helpful.

Well I sanded the piece for about half an hour and what ever discolored it is gone I gues it was glue residue like you said, kinda weird though it never did that before, well thanks for the help.

Joe it could be the heat and also how long you had the pattern glued to the wood.
