I want to thank everyone here that helped make ornaments for Project Rudolph this last Christmas. You guys were AWESOME!!! For those interested, we have a 2nd web site set up at http://projecttlcserves.org/ and you can go there and check out what we have done the last year, and be sure to go to the guest book and read the thank you letters we have gotten back from the Service Members. They are really neat to read, and you should read them because you helped. Someone once made the comment that they didn't say anything about the ornaments, but you should have seen their faces when they held them up and looked at them and then showed them to the people around them. We heard fantastic comments when we were there, so please don't think they aren't apperciated just because they aren't specificaly mentioned in the guest book. Thanks again for all your help. We are already starting on next year in hopes of avoiding a crunch just before Christmas. In fact we have been gathering Candy Canes, ornaments, and stationary on after Christmas sales. It saves a bunch of money, and really helps when it's time to assemble. We are hoping to have a Dutch Oven Dinner in July or August and have a Christmas in July bag assembly get together at the same time to both raise money for shipping and If we can assemble a bunch of bags then it sure makes it easier come Nov. and Dec. So if any of you happen to be in Southern Idaho, and want a GREAT Dutch Oven Dinner, please stop on by We'd love to meet you and feed you as well. Hope you all have a Great 2010!! |
