Default So many patterns so little time

I get inspired by the patterns in SSWC but find it hard to find the time to try all that I want. I finally got around to trying the relief duck in the Holliday 2008 issue by Dave Snyder. Here is my attempt.

Now that is a fine piece of work. The cutting and shaping look great! Love the wood you chose as well!

Very nice indeed Ray, thought about trying that but that was as far as I got.

I know what you mean about too many patterns. I keep telling myself I won't buy anymore patterns until I cut the ones I have, but then something new comes out - and I just have to have it. Sometimes I think I'm more of a pattern collector than a scrollsawer

Ray
I don't know how I missed this thread....but I'm glad I found it.
Thanks for posting the picture of the bevel cut goose! You did an excellent job on it.
It feels good to see someone trying this method. It isn't as hard as it may seem and as your work shows, the end result is well worth the effort.
