These are a just few things I've cut. (hopefully ) The name plaque is the one that started the obsession. I cut it in 1996 in Ag shop using stencils for the pattern. It was the first thing I ever cut on a scrollsaw and, though it don't look like much to most people, is like a treasure to me! None of these are my own patterns. They have came from various places. In fact, I believe three or four of them will be recognised on here. The cowboy boots (one of my faves) is actually cut out of a scrap I had of this building material I made some doghouses out of that looks like old weathered barn wood, but actually isn't solid wood at all and comes in 4x8 sheets. Surprisingly, it turned out to be descent scrolling material! I matted it with rough leather and used an old weathered frame. Made a great present! Critisism is welcome!

These are patterns I made myself. This is where I need the most pointers. Don't be shy about pointing out mistakes! They are in order (first picture is of the first one I ever made, second pic is the second one I ever made, ect...) The lighthouse scene is the worst, but it was actually not a pattern. I just drew something on a piece of birch ply and cut it out. My fiance (from the second pic) is a lighthouse fan. The second is my sweetie pie, who was my first portrait, then my second was "uncle" Randy, a present for his wife. The last two are the lead singer from Poison and the lead singer from Cinderella, for the fiance's daughter who is a fan. I'm cutting another pattern right now for her that I made of Angus Young from AC/DC. Will post it as soon as I get it framed. None of the picture frames are made by me. I haven't ventured there yet, mainly because of limited tools/tool fund/time.

Nice work and yes it's not hard to get addicted to this habit. Good work on you own designs,I like the way you did the lighthouse.
