G'day all, Some Trivets that I have made for the girls in the family for Xmas. The pattern is not mine. The War Office brought one back from Sydney about 6 mths ago. The one she bought was cut on a CNC I'd, say as the grain in the two pieces did not match, and the curves were perfect. I stack cut these 2 at a time from 19mm Pine and Merranti, and Pine and Tasmanian Oak. The idea was that you could combine the different coloured timbers and make them more interesting.

John: those are great the gals are going to love them and they sure put ideas in ones head about making differant tpyes of trvets [0] But this brings up a question to my mind on that sore subject of copy rights is it OK to make a pattern of something you buy like that or to make a pattern simalar to some thing you buy I know John you do not have the same copy right laws as in the U.S. Erssel |
