Default Wanted to say Hi from Hawaii

Hello Everyone... I have tried and tried to get signed on with this message board and tonight I did something correct and it worked!! Anyway I wanted to say hello to everyone out there. Most of the day I use a scroll saw within our business, but have been know to use the other tools in the shop as well,

The wife and I live on the Big Island of Hawaii in Hawaii...been here for about 4 years and just love it. My shop faces the ocean and because of that, I left the from off the building so I have a much better view. We live in an area of not many homeowners that live here all year long, so it is very private.

I enjoy all types of woodworking but besides of animal sign business (Artistic Animals) I tend to make toys for the grand kids and and learning intarsia...I really like this.

Welcome Hawaiilad........glad you were able to join. We have another member moving out to Hawaii soon. How about showing us some of your projects, and a view of that ocean would not be bad either. Welcome aboard mate.

Hey Larry--
Good to have you aboard, but like others have said, photos are appreciated--sunrise, sunset, waterfalls. We don't care, we will just have a virtual drop in on your home.

At least with the virtual drop ins, you don't have to serve snacks!

Welcome Larry, you're gonna like it here I promise. With all your years experience at scrolling you will probably be able to teach us a lot and we're looking forward to seeing some of your work. David

Thank you everyone for the kind words. I have heard allot about this chat and I'm sure I will enjoy...you are correct Evie...I will have to learn how to post pictures. As for a website, we no longer have one, but our items can be found on Ebay when you look under our store name..Artistic Animals..at least a few of the items are there. I think my wife has painted nearly 1000 animal designs over the years.

Yes I received a message from Jerry and we talked on the phone as well. Seems that he is moving here to the same Island we live on...about 1 1/2 hours apart I would say.

I 'm really looking forward to meeting someone who enjoys scrolling as much as I do. also looking forward to my new life style and getting out of the big city life I've had for so many years just being on the go all the time. I think think it's time for a change and this is going to be a big one.

Larry, I look forward to meeting you and your wife I was kinda worried about not knowing anyone and like I said it's a blessing to know that there is someone on the Island that enjoys scrolling as much as I do, Looking forward to seeing your work as well don't think I'll have time to make it to the Tropicana to see it so I will see you in Hawaii Mahalo.Jerry
