Default Olympic Torch

G'day all,
My wife lectures a weight lose class and wanted an Olympic torch to use in her lectures.

Last time the Olympics were on I made one by painting a plunger gold, and gluing red and yellow cellophane in the rubber cup.

Well, I guess that at sometime during the past 4 years the plunger was used for it was meant to be used for.

So with 2 hours to go before the good woman left home to do a lecture, I was kindly asked if I could make something to replace the plunger, which I had had the audacity to use as a plunger.

This what I came up with, It's rough but does the job.

I could have put this in the Off topic section as it is turned but the flames are scrolled.

John, you are too much. Neat idea but useless to clear a toilet.

G'day Jerry,
Thanks.
Yep, I turned it on a lathe. I have a $99.00 special that I bought from Noah just after he'd finished with it.

Good enough for turning toy parts and a few other things, but I'd love nice solid Midi so as to do more precision stuff.

Thanks all for you nice comments
