Default Celtic Knot Font

I know there is some interest in Celtic designs. I saw this website advertised on another forum - thought it was interesting:
Celtic Knot Font - Create custom Celtic designs and patterns for crafts!

If you trawl the internet, you should be able to find some free knotwork paintbrushes for graphics software such as the Gimp and Paint Shop Pro. I can't remember where I downloaded mine, but they're rather nice.

Gill - that would mean I had time to learn how to use Gimp and Paint Shop Pro! lol I do have a version of PSP and have loaded it onto my computer- but haven't done anything with it.
I liked the fact you just had to type to get the designs....

Hi Theresa

Celtic knotwork looks lovely, and so long as people can find a solution that works for them - great! It was nice of you to point out that website so I thought I'd chip in with another resource which might also be worth considering.

Looking around later, I found this website:

Lists

By the way, the Gimp isn't as bad as it may appear to be when you first open it up, but you're right - there's a definite time-consuming learning curve.

Gill - I learn so much faster when I can see the programs being used. I've tried learning from manuals and can't seem to get far. Some day when I get time I will try the tutorials on the web.
I've marked the link you gave as a favorite! Looks like some more great sites to go to. Thanks!
