| Gary W. I am new to this forum as well as new to scroll sawing. Our neighbors suffered a tragic loss of a 47 year old sun in a drowning accident and I would like to try to scroll some sort of memorial piece for them. Any suggestions as to where to possibly find a pattern of this type? |

| Gary,
Welcome!! Although at a somber time. Stay close to this site, as you can learn a lot here, and enjoy it at a better, brighter time. That all said, I'm not sure where you can get a "memorial" pattern, but in various catalogs/websites, you can find plenty of "spiritual" plaques.
Hope all goes well, and bless your neighbors.

| If you've got a picture of the gentleman, you could scroll a portrait of him. It lasts a lifetime, they display wonderfully, and obviously, every time viewed it will bring back floods of memories. I'm truly heavy hearted for this family that a memorial is even necessary. Do send my condolensces.
If you decide a portrait would be the way to go, don't hesitate to contact me. I'd be honored to help with the pattern.
